Our garden or: The Green Thumb AG

"Il nous faut cultiver notre jardin."
Voltaire, "Candide"

During the lunch break, pupils from the 6th year have the opportunity, as members of the "Green Thumb" gardening AG, to sow, plant, cultivate and harvest vegetables in our own school garden.
Carrots and radishes have been planted in the greenhouse. Zucchini, tomatoes, lettuce and flowers have been transplanted from their pots into large beds. Strawberries are growing are in boxes in front of the greenhouse. Our pupils are keenly interested in taking care of "their" plants.
As soon as the first crops have ripened, the pupils are allowed to harvest their vegetables and fruit, and then, of course, to eat them!
Head of the Garden AG: Dr. Karolin Kinner.
